Changes.

Hi. I see you're new here. That's cool. To find out what this site is about, please read this page. You may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. It's free, you won't receive any spam from me (like, ever), but more importantly: you'll never miss a single word. Thanks for visiting!

Yesterday I made a couple of significant changes to this crazy little thing we collectively refer to as ‘life’.

Change #1 - I’ve started a new diet and workout plan. Some of you may be aware of my previous success with getting into shape that began at the end of 2007, when I lost 41 pounds in about 13 weeks. (”16 Weeks Of Pain“).

I had a few goals in that plan. One of them, clearly, was to lose the weight and get into much better shape. Which I did.

Another was to get into the kind of shape that led to a six-pack. On this, I failed. I got my abdominals/stomach hard as a rock, but didn’t lose quite enough bodyfat for the abs themselves to be visible.

Hence, I’ve spent the last few weeks thinking about what tweaks and modifications I needed to make to the workout plan and diet that I utilised before, and feel like I’ve cracked it.

More detail on this when I’ve had a chance to put it all together.

Change #2 - I’ve decided to abstain from alcohol consumption for 30 days. This isn’t necessarily related to Change #1 above (although it will help), as the diet plan I’ve drawn-up does allow for alcohol, but lately I’ve felt that even though I only drink a few days a week that, and my anti-social working hours have left me feeling like a zombie pretty much 24/7. It’s a very unproductive mindset.

Change #3 - Around 2pm today, I changed the theme on the site. There’s still a few tweaks to do but I’ve been working on something more professional, and this is it.

Just keeping you in the loop.
