Well Done… You Save The Day! Redux.

This photostory has been getting a bit of attention. Basically, two children get together to rescue a dog that is caught in a canal, and without their help would probably have drowned.

Save The Day

It didn’t end properly for me, though. It just kinda stops. I was like: what, that’s it? So, me being me, I did a little digging around, and… well. It doesn’t close quite as nicely as the original poster suggested. Here’s the original photoshoot, and that’s exactly what happened at the end. I swear.

    Ah-ha.

The fact that neither dog nor children move as the eagle swoops in would suggest otherwise…

  3. 3 Shéamus

You would think, but it all happened in a blink of an eye. Those kids didn’t even have a chance to react!

    Honest. Eagles are that fast.

Scaling is critical… next time make the bald eagle a believable size. Otherwise, funny.

  5. 5 Shéamus

The bald eagle was actually still a juvenile, albeit a strong, hungry one. It’s all to scale!

That is an amazing story! Truly amazing that the puppy didn’t budge when the eagle picks it up! *grin*

Yes; the poor thing was frozen in terror. :)

A juvenile bald eagle has no white.

    This one was spray-painted.

I seriously think evolution would ensure that when those kids see a huge eagle swooping down towards them, they will move– and quick!

It was not only fast, but had an alluring charisma that charmed them immediately towards inaction.

    Or something! ;)
